Ascot Roulette Strategy

The Ascot roulette strategy walks through a seven-value sequence on an even-money bet. Its endpoint instruction needs a convention before the method can be used consistently.

Short answer

Start in the middle of 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 20, 30; a win moves right and a loss moves left. Every amount wagered still has roulette’s usual negative expectation.

Defined rule and convention

Use one even-money choice, such as redbetRedEven-money bet on the 18 red numbers. French: rouge.Read full → or blackbetBlackEven-money bet on the 18 black numbers. French: noir.Read full →, and the displayed sequence 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 20, 30. Begin at 8. After a win move one place right; after a loss move one place left. The endpoint rule permits either ending or restarting but does not state a restart stake. This article uses the transparent convention that reaching either endpoint ends the run; the next independent run begins again at 8.

Sequence table

The values are stakes, not targets or cumulative balances. A move changes only the next wager.

The stopping convention is explicitly chosen because no endpoint restart amount is defined.

Worked example

Suppose the first four even-money results are win, loss, loss, win. The stakes are 8, 13, 8, and 5 unitsmoneyUnitThe base stake a system or a player works in. Progressions are described in units so they apply at any table.Read full →. The net is +8 − 13 − 8 + 5 = −8 units. The fourth result moves the next stake to 8, rather than proving that the earlier losses have been recovered. Expectation and risk

Also: slot, cup.Read full → and loses on 19, so a stake of s units has expected result −s/37. Moving through a finite sequence can make exposure rise after wins or after losses, depending on the current position, but it cannot change that price. The 30-unit endpoint is also 15 times the smallest stated stake. Table limitstableTable limitMinimum and maximum bet allowed. Questions

Does Ascot specify what happens at 2 or 30?

It allows ending or restarting at an endpoint but does not define the restart amount. This explanation ends the run and restarts a later run at 8 as a declared convention.

Does moving right after a win make the next result more likely?

No. The next spin remains independent. The sequence changes the amount at risk, not the 18/37 chance of an even-money win on a single-zero wheel.
