4 Pillar Roulette Strategy
Four Pillars is a six-unit inside layout that covers 24 European pockets, although only twelve yield a positive net result.
Ioannis Kavouras describes developing this exact layout. Each six-unit European spin expects to lose 6/37.

Payout table
The two six-lines are covered but break even after the rest of the layout loses.
Worked example
If 15 lands, the 2-unit corner returns 18 including stake against 6 units placed: +12. If 22 lands, its corner returns 9 against the same total: +3. If 7 lands, its six-line returns 6 including stake, exactly matching all 6 units wagered: zero net. A 0 loses all six units.
Cost and risk
The layout covers 24/37 = 64.865% of pockets, but only 12/37 = 32.432% are profitable; half its covered outcomes are break-evenmathBreak-evenThe point where a bet’s expected value is exactly zero, so neither side has an edge. Continuing “until a profit” merely risks more six-unit spins and does not determine when a favorable endpoint arrives.
Questions
The six-line gains five units excluding its returned stake, and the other five units lose. Equivalently, its six-unit gross return equals the entire six-unit layout.
No. A limited trial cannot override the standard-payout expectation of −6/37 per European spin.
