3/2 Roulette Strategy
The 3/2 roulette strategy puts three units on one even-money betbetEven-money betRed/black, odd/even, high/low. 18 numbers, pays 1:1.Read full → and two on one column. Its winning chance depends on the chosen combination.
Red plus the second column has a 26/37 = 70.27% positive-result chance; black plus the first column has 24/37. Either five-unit European spin still expects to lose 5/37.

Red-and-second-column payout table
For red plus the second column, four numbers are both red and in the column.
Worked example
Place 3 on red and 2 on the second column. Number 14 is both bets: the red gain is 3 and the column gain is 4, net +7. A red number outside the column loses its 2-unitmoneyUnitThe base stake a system or a player works in. Progressions are described in units so they apply at any table.Read full → column stake, so it nets +1; a black second-column number loses its 3-unit red stake but nets +1 from the column. A number in neither loses the full 5.
Cost and risk
For this red-and-second-column example the expectation is (4 × 7 + 22 × 1 − 11 × 5) / 37 = −5/37. Thus the 70.27% claim is valid for this particular color-column combination, but it is not universal. Black plus first column has 24/37 positive outcomes, and a parity plus any column also has 24/37. Stopping after profit changes neither the next independent spin nor the negative return of the five units already exposed.
Questions
The winning component’s gain is offset by the other component’s lost stake: +3 − 2 or +4 − 3 both equal +1.
No. Red plus the second column and black plus the third have 26; other color-column combinations have 22 or 24, so count the selected pair.
