Cold number

A number that has not appeared for many spins. Carries no information about future spins on a fair wheel.

In context

Result boards highlight hot and cold numbers because players ask for them, not because they help.

Did you know

After 100 spins, about seven numbers will not have appeared at all on a perfectly fair wheel, so in roulette, cold numbers are a certainty, not a signal.
